Individual bottle, brewed by Harvey's in collaboration with Court Garden Vineyard.
'Elizabethan Ale' was first brewed for Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation in 1953, as the nation entered a new 'Elizabethan Age'. It has been brewed ever since.
This Commemorative Brew has seen the beer undergo a secondary fermentation and maturing process at Court Garden, introducing a second sparkling wine yeast.
It was brewed in January 2022 to mark Her Late Majesty's Platinum Jubilee and has been bottled in the aftermath of her glorious reign. As a mark of respect, it is the final 'Elizabethan Ale' that we will brew.
This 2022 vintage is limited to 1200 bottles and is our lasting tribute to a much loved monarch.
A balanced barley wine with an added richness from the sparkling wine yeast. The residual sweetness is not cloying and is matched by the hop resins to produce a smooth, lasting finish.
The bubbles are delicate yet vibrant and the beer has a white, creamy head that persists. It can be served chilled or at cellar temperature.
Contains yeast sediment - store upright and pour carefully.
