Gideon Mantell Toby Jug
Tax included
Gideon Mantell was an English obstetrician, geologist and paleontologist born in Lewes in 1790. Mantell's attempts to reconstruct the Iguanodon established the scientific study of fossils: in 1822 he was responsible for the discovery of the first fossil teeth, and later much of the skeleton of Iguanodon.
Harvey's commissioned a limited edition of the commemorative Toby Jugs to mark the bicentenary of Iguanodon's identification.
Hand made in Staffordshire, England.
Limited to 1000 units.
